Weather forces Lady Rangers to postpone game

Icy and wet road conditions throughout the northern and western half of the state forced officials with Ranger College and Howard College to postpone their non-conference game scheduled for Dec. 8 in the Ron Butler Gymnasium.

Ranger College head coach Bill Foy said the game would be rescheduled for a later date.

Ranger College is 9-1 for the season, with their only loss being a 57-55 decision to Howard College on Nov. 12 in Big Soring, Texas. The Lady Hawks are 6-8 overall and 1-0 in Western Junior College Athletic Conference play.

The Lady Rangers' next outing will be Saturday, Dec. 15, against Western Oklahoma State University. The game will be played in Altus, Okla., at 2 p.m.
