Bio

Coach Graham has over 20 years of coaching experience which includes All-American NJCAA athletes, national Junior Olympic and NAIA athletes, and California state-level high school athletes.

Coach Graham most recently was the assistant coach at Gillette College. While there, the women’s team finished 3rd in the nation in cross country and the half marathon championship. The men’s team earned 2nd in the half marathon championship and was awarded first All-Academic team in the nation. Several athletes earned All-American honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.

Prior to coaching at Gillette, Graham coached at Odessa College. In her first year there, her athletes attained Phi Theta Kappa honors, All American Outdoor Track honors (she reorganized the first track team that has competed for Odessa in 20 years) and three received All American Scholar awards. She has coached female runners who have run 3:07 for the marathon, 1:27 half marathon, 5:03 for the mile, 18:23 for the 5K. She has coached male runners who have run in the 25s for the 8K and sub 15:20s for the 5K. Her teams have been well known as scholar-athletes and have earned presidential scholarship awards as well as valedictorian honors. In the six years she has coached in the NJCAA, she has coached seven NJCAA All Americans, 23 Coaches’ Association All Americans, 22 NJCAA Academic All-Americans, 42 Academic All America Coaches’ Association Award winners. While at Ranger College, her teams have been consistently in the top five for the national half marathon championships and ranked in the top 20 in the country for cross country for men’s and women’s teams.

Coach Graham earned her master’s degree in kinesiology from San Diego State University. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from San Diego State. She graduated magna cum laude and was chosen as the Outstanding Student for the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts. As such, she was chosen to give the commencement address at graduation. She holds a CSCS certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is married to Bill Graham and has fivr grown children and six grandchildren.
