Winkleman blasts a pair of home runs helping lead RC to a split against Cisco

Ranger was looking to get right following a tough series against Temple, to do so they needed to knock off Eastland County rival Cisco who came into play with a 32-3 record. Offense was not at a shortage as the teams combined for nine home runs and 47 runs in two games with each team going home with a victory.

GAME 2

The finale was looking like it was on track to follow the pattern of Game 1 when Cisco built a 5-run lead in the opening innings. Ranger made multiple comebacks, but after a pair of walks and a triple gave Cisco the lead back headed to the eighth inning.

Ranger had one more rally in them and it started with a solo home run by Noah Winkleman that tied the game at 12-12. A single followed by a Victor Bueno home run gave RC the lead right back, 14-12.

Ricky Gerik pitched two innings and didn't allow a run picking up the save in a 14-12 Rangers win.
