Solomon scores twice leading RC to conference-opening win

Azinho Solomon highlighted what was a dominant performance by Ranger in its season-opening half against Hill College on Friday. However, the Rangers only led 1-0, Solomon sparked RC in the second half when he scored his second goal of the season as Ranger went on to beat the Rebels, 4-2.

Freddy Nguma scored to make it 3-0. Chris Harrison fought off a Hill defender to make it 4-0. 

The Rebels added a pair of garbage-time goals to make the score more respectable.

At 1-0 on the season and in conference play, Ranger is off until Sept. 16 when they face Richland College.
