Edwards scores twice give Ranger its second win over Hill College

CLEBURNE – Trailing 1-0 at the half, Ranger came out in the second half focused on not dropping its first conference game of the season. Byishimo Heritier started the comeback just two minutes into the final half when he tied the game at 1-1. Kyle Edwards finished off the Rebels with a pair of goals which gave Ranger a 4-2 win.

After Hill took the lead back, 2-1, Azinho Solomon re-tied the game with a goal of his own. Edwards then scored on a penalty kick to give Ranger the lead for good and added another goal for good measure with five minutes left in the game.

Ranger will look to go 3-0 in conference play when they host Western Texas on Saturday.
