Ranger track brings home a pair of first place finishes
ABILENE – In its second-straight meet in Abilene, Ranger took part in the Hardin-Simmons Invitational and came home with a pair of first-place finishes.
Gladys Rutto won the women's 3000M with a time of 11:20.85.
James Ramos took home the top spot in the men's 3000M Steeplechase with a time of 11:01.02.
A trio of Ranger athletes finished second.
Daniel Rotich ran a 9:21.38 in the 3000M.
Sydney Leverett ran 4:12.04 in the 1500M.
Abel Kogo threw the javelin 44.74M.
The women's 4X400 relay team of Destiny Byrd, Angok Tac, Freshiah Ndungu and Gladys Rutto placed third with a time of 4:27.21
