De’Torrian Green is a collegiate track and field and cross country coach with a proven record of building successful programs, developing championship-caliber athletes, and creating a culture of academic and athletic excellence. A former NCAA Division I sprinter at Alabama A&M University, Green competed at the highest collegiate level and established himself as one of the top sprinters in program history.
During his career at Alabama A&M, Green earned multiple conference honors, won the SWAC Indoor Championship in the 200 meters, set a meet record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.34, and qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round. His collegiate personal bests include 10.34 in the 100 meters, 20.58 in the 200 meters, and 6.76 in the 60 meters, ranking among the top performances in school history. He was also a member of nationally competitive relay squads and helped elevate the Bulldogs’ sprint program on the conference and national stage.
Transitioning into coaching, Green has helped build and sustain successful collegiate programs by recruiting and developing more than 50 student-athletes annually. Over a three-year span, he helped raise more than $200,000 in program support, qualified over 50 athletes for national championship competition, coached athletes to break 41 school records, and guided numerous athletes to conference honors, All-American performances, and academic recognition.
Specializing in sprints, hurdles, jumps, and relays, Green combines his experience as a high-level NCAA Division I athlete with a passion for mentorship and athlete development. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, technical excellence, accountability, and the pursuit of success both on the track and in the classroom.
Green is committed to building championship programs while preparing student-athletes to excel long after their competitive careers have ended.
