Ranger College Women’s Track and Field Breaks Into National Rankings
NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Ranger College women's track and field made program history by earning a spot in the national rankings for the first time. The Lady Rangers secured the No. 24 position, marking a significant milestone for the team.
The program's momentum continued at the Carl Knight Invitational, held at Stephen F. Austin State University on April 11–12, 2025, where several athletes delivered standout performances.
Freshman Macie Morales made an impressive debut in the 5,000 meters, clocking a personal-best time of 18:23.69. The performance ranks second all-time in school history.
The women's 4x100-meter relay team also made headlines, breaking the school record with a time of 47.45 seconds. The effort earned the squad a No. 7 national ranking among NJCAA programs.
The Lady Rangers are now setting their sights on Hutchinson, Kansas, for the upcoming national championships.
