Ranger, TX — September 12, 2025 — The Ranger College women's soccer team kept its unbeaten streak alive with a 2–0 shutout victory over Hill College in Friday's conference home opener. The win moves the Lady Rangers to 6-0-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
First-Half Strike
Ranger broke through in the 20th minute when Mia Gregory found the back of the net off an assist from Naileth Rangel, giving the Lady Rangers an early 1–0 lead.
Closing It Out
In the second half, Alba Mendez Garcia doubled the advantage with a goal in the 65th minute, assisted by Laura Ruiz. The two-goal cushion proved more than enough thanks to a steady defensive effort.
Defensive Stand
Goalkeeper Penelope Charrion anchored the back line with a flawless performance, recording four saves to secure the clean sheet. Ranger's defense held Hill College without a single shot on target during the match.
