RANGER, Texas — September 19, 2025 — The Ranger College women's soccer team continued its unbeaten start to the season with a convincing 4–0 victory over cross-county rival Cisco College on Friday afternoon. The win strengthens the Lady Rangers' hold in conference play and extends their record to 7-0-1.
Fast Start
The Lady Rangers wasted no time seizing control. In just the 2nd minute, Nuria Alejo opened the scoring with an unassisted strike. Thirteen minutes later, Mia Gregory doubled the lead with another unassisted goal.
First-Half Control
Ranger added a third in the 30th minute when Meriem De La Iglesia found the net, also unassisted, to give the Lady Rangers a commanding 3–0 halftime advantage.
Finishing Strong
The Lady Rangers capped off the scoring late in the second half as Clara Luque struck in the 80th minute, sealing the 4–0 rivalry win.
Defensive Stand
Ranger's defense held Cisco without a goal despite the Lady Wranglers managing six shots on target. The Lady Rangers controlled possession throughout and never allowed their rivals to generate sustained pressure.
Looking Ahead
With the win, Ranger College improves to 7-0-1 overall and continues to build momentum in conference play. The Lady Rangers will look to keep their unbeaten streak alive in their next matchup as they next face Western Texas College at home on Friday September 26 at 2:00pm.
