Jordan Brown and the Ranger College Lady Rangers found a cure for their recent issues on Monday night in front of a large crowd in the Ron Butler Gymnasium: Spring Break.
Ranger College snapped a 4-game losing streak by pounding out an impressive 3-0 victory over Temple College in a key Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference showdown. The win gave Ranger its first win since Feb. 25 and, more importantly, moved the Lady Rangers into sole possession of fourth place in the conference standings.
Ranger got off to a fast start against Temple. The RC women raced to an early lead in the first game of the best-of-five series and breezed to a 25-17 decision. The Lady Rangers finished off the win with scores of 25-18 and 25-23.
With the victory, Ranger moved to 2-4 in NTJCAC play.
Ranger College will return to action on March 11 when they travel to Gainesville to face off with North Central Texas College.
RC's next home game will be on March 12 when they host Victoria College.
