Lady Rangers improve to 8-2 with win over Midland

Kiah Lopez and Eunice Cervantes both recorded 10 kills and Katie Reimer and Jenna Rios both posted double-digit assists on Friday and powered the Ranger College women to a 3-1 victory over Midland College. RC, which has won seven of its last eight outings, claim the win by scores of 25-18, 25-23, 21-25 and 25-14.

Carlota Mora narrowly missed double figures in kills. She helped RC dominated the nets with eight kills.

Rios led the Lady Rangers' defense with 14 digs and 19 assists. Reimer added 18 assists.

Ranger College will return to action on Friday when they kick off a trip to Arkansas City, Kansas, for games with Pratt Community College, Cowley County Community College, Southwestern University and North Platte Community College.

The RC women will open Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play on Sept. 18 against Vernon.
