Ranger College Volleyball Sweeps Temple in Road Conference Win

TEMPLE, Texas — September 17, 2025 — The Ranger College volleyball team delivered another strong performance in conference play Wednesday night, defeating the Temple College Leopards in straight sets (26–24, 25–7, 25–21). The victory pushed the Lady Rangers to 4-1 in conference play and 8-6 overall in the season.

Key Performers

Freshman Prestyn Parish paced the attack with a team-high 10 kills, hitting .429 while also tallying 5 digs and 5 block assists for 13.5 total points. Sophomore Etsel Ramirez added 7 kills, 8 digs, and a season-high 5 service aces, contributing 12 points to the win.

Kymberly Sheppard provided 7 kills and 4 block assists, while Eunice Cervantes chipped in 4 kills, 3 block assists, and an ace. Setting duties were shared by Tarryn Allen (16 assists, 9 digs, 2 aces) and Bailey Black (6 assists, 6 digs, 4 aces).

Turning Point

After edging out Temple in a tight 26–24 opening set, the Lady Rangers dominated the second frame 25–7 behind a barrage of aces and strong defensive coverage. They closed out the match with a composed 25–21 third set to secure the sweep.

Looking Ahead

With the win, Ranger College improves to 4-1 in conference, 8-6 overall, and continues to climb the league standings. The Lady Rangers return to action on Saturday September 20, 2025 at 1:00pm as conference play rolls on with a match against Cisco College.
