Ranger College Volleyball Wraps Up Strong Season at Region V Tournament

WEATHERFORD, Texas — November 6, 2025 — The Ranger College volleyball team saw its 2025 campaign come to a close Thursday afternoon, falling to Frank Phillips College in straight sets (25–19, 27–25, 25–17) in the opening round of the NJCAA Region V Tournament. The loss brought the Lady Rangers' season to an end with an overall record of 17-12 and a 12-6 mark in conference play.

Competitive from Start to Finish

Despite the sweep, the Lady Rangers battled hard in every set, pushing Frank Phillips to the limit in the second frame before narrowly dropping it 27–25. Ranger's composure and energy kept the match competitive throughout against one of the top-ranked programs in the region.

A Season of Growth and Resilience

The 2025 season showcased the depth, balance, and determination of the Ranger College volleyball program. The Lady Rangers posted a winning record in both conference and overall play, highlighted by thrilling five-set victories and key conference sweeps that solidified their place among Region V's elite.

Several standout performances across the season propelled Ranger to one of its strongest campaigns in recent years, as a young and cohesive roster continued to develop chemistry and competitive edge under the guidance of Head Coach Nicole Smith and Assistant Coach Madison Lee.

Looking Ahead

With multiple starters eligible to return next season, the Lady Rangers' 2025 run sets the stage for continued success. Building on the momentum of a 17-win year and a top-three conference finish, Ranger College will look to return to postseason play even stronger in 2026.
