Ranger College Men’s Basketball Dominates Loyalty Prep in Home Victory
RANGER, Texas — November 10, 2025 — The Ranger College men's basketball team delivered an emphatic performance Monday night, defeating Loyalty College Prep 98–44 inside Ron Butler Gymnasium. The win marked the Rangers' second straight home victory and improved their record to 2–2 overall heading into Thursday's matchup against Florida Southwestern State College.
Complete Team Performance
Ranger controlled the game from start to finish, building a 46–20 halftime lead and never looking back. The Rangers shot an efficient 50% from the field (43-of-86) while holding Loyalty Prep to just 44 total points.
Balanced Scoring Attack
Five Rangers scored in double figures, led by Cam Brown, who paced the team with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Rashad Bryant followed closely with 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Gavin Headings recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Off the bench, Jace Jeffries and Israel Flores provided instant offense, each scoring 15 and 11 points, respectively. Dave Meriwether added 7 points and 13 rebounds, anchoring a defense that forced 21 steals and dominated the boards with a 66–24 rebounding advantage.
