Ranger College Men’s Basketball Outlasts Florida Southwestern in Front of Packed Home Crowd
RANGER, Texas — November 13, 2025 — The Ranger College men's basketball team powered past Florida Southwestern State College on Thursday night, earning an 83–77 victory in front of a packed and energetic Ron Butler Gymnasium.
Brown and Ndiaye Lead the Charge
Freshman Cam Brown was electric, scoring a game-high 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting while adding 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Brown's shot-making and defensive hustle anchored the Rangers throughout all four quarters.
Sophomore Mafatime Ndiaye delivered another sharp performance from the perimeter, draining four three-pointers on his way to 19 points, while also contributing 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Deep Contributions Across the Lineup
Freshman Javon Alexander added 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, attacking the rim effectively and helping control the game's pace.
Off the bench, Devin Whitten gave Ranger a huge boost with 8 points and 6 rebounds, including a clutch 5-for-5 performance from the free-throw line.
Sophomore Jalen Hooks impacted the game in multiple ways, posting 4 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal in 29 minutes of active floor time.
